Lily's story.............
Lily, my 5 year old Jack Russell cross suffered a sprain in her shoulder which
caused her a lot of pain and left her limping. She was prescribed rest and
anti-inflammatories which helped short-term but over the follwing months the
lameness kept reoccurring. My vet then recommended a session of acupuncture
with Emma. During her initial consultation Emma found that although there
didn't seem to be much pain in Lily's shoulder, she did have a secondary problem
in her back, probably due to holding herself badly when she was injured, and
this was causing her pain. Over the 6 sessions Emma helped reassure Lily, who
was initially very nervous, and build her trust. The treatment has really
helped Lily regain her active lifestyle. She is now pain-free, has had no
further limping and is moving freely and evenly. I would thoroughly recommend
Emma, she has a fantastic rapport with animals and her treatment has really
helped my dog where more conventional treatments couldn't.
